I purchased this car at the beginning of last year. Came out of Seattle, I'm in NC. The plan was for my father and 2 nephews to fly cross country, go over the car for a week and drive it back. Doing a tour along museums and other sites that would be a memory my nephews would never forget. Well, rona happened, all the museums and sites shut down. Holding out that things would change, they never did and I had the car shipped to NC. My sole purpose in purchasing the car was for the family experience and the PR for the museum. Due to the total incompetence with the NC DMV, it has taken till NOW to get the title back from them. We've driven the car locally and most everything works. What does not work: Heater core went out when the previous owner was loading the car. I do not know if the AC works, previous owner claims yes, but we haven't charged it to verify it takes about 5.5lbs. Gas gauge does not work, driver rear window is off the track. The rest of the gauges, lights and cruise work as they should. Should last forever as a 440/727/Dana 60 setup.
You can see from the condition it's a driver car. It has light surface rust in various places. Any places that were issues, I took pictures of. Please ask any specific questions you have and I'll do my best to answer.  It would have been perfect for our use, but sadly, that didn't work out. You can search my collection via mccandless antique auto. There is a reserve on the car, it is significantly less than I paid for it. The reserve is well under 30k. Below I will copy and past from the imperial club website about this specific car. It's well known as 2 owners prior a guy was trying to sell it for 6 figures, which wasn't realistic.
I can help with transportation. This car is 22.5' long, it ain't small. I can offer enclosed transport (single car trailer) within 500 miles for 1.5 a mile from 27215
1969 Chrysler Crown Imperial Limo
VIN #YM41K9C145568
This Limousine is one of six built by Armbruster-Stageway Coach Builders in 1969. This one was commissioned by Chrysler Corporation for Bob Hope's use during the year he was filming commercials in Hollywood for Chrysler Corporation. This limo transported Mr. Hope from Palm Springs to Los Angeles and back on the days he was filming. After the years contract was fulfilled, this limo was sold to Barker Motors a Chrysler dealer, in Eugene, Oregon. It was purchased from Barker's in 1980.
The six limousines built by Armbruster were 30 inch stretches. they have glass dividers, rear facing companion seats behind the divider, center bar console with a decanter and six glasses, rear radio and heat/air controls.

Vehicle Details
I am relisting a 1990 Chrysler Imperial, in the last action the buyer misread the location. The car is located in Wisconsin and Buyer is responsible for pick-up or arranging shipping. The car is in overall good condition. The motor is in good condition, however, it does not start, there is old gas still in tank. It last ran in May of 2020, however when tried to start in August it would not start. It was driven on road in 2019, and the motor ran great. The transmission works and shifts fine. The body is in good shape, the paint has some chips, flaking and dings-please refer to the pictures and the trim under the head lights is missing. The factory ABS brakes were the experimental Bosch system and has has been replaced with a NON-ABS system (could not get parts for the old system). They worked when ran in May of last year. There are rust holes in the frame on the passenger side where the trunk brace is welded to the frame rails. Please refer to pictures. These are the only ones I could spot, the rest of the frame looks good. The two front tires leak and need replacement. The rear window on the passenger does not work. There is only 113,433 miles on it. It gets excellent mileage, it would average 28+ mpg on the interstate. It has a 3.3 liter V6 engine. There is a rear load leveler. Electric front seats. We owned the car for over 22 years and loved it, we were hoping to fix it up, but have no time. Local pickup only.
